Rare vellum binding, most likely half of an old journal anno 1651 with a owner mark PG. The notebook that is made with this vellum binding is filled with bible texts, lessons, reading. Some manuscript inscriptions of former owners: J.H. Prins, J.H. van Nood, Aderjaantje van Veen, Antje Prins, C. Prins, Fran Nood, E. van Nood, J.P. van Veen, K. van Nood, A. van Nood, A. van Wijngaarden and C. van Nood.

Binding 215 x 170 mm. Original Ropes. Binding cut of on the top, most likely the hafl of a folio binding.

[NL] Perkamenten band uit 1651, hergebruikt als omslag voor een notitieboek. Het notitieboek is gevuld met theologische aantekeningen, bijbellessen, lezingen ed. In het manuscript dat zonder datum is maar aan het handschrift te zien 18e eeuws is, staan ook enkele namen geschreven. De tekst begint met “Het eerste handelt over smense elende vrage hoe veel stukke sijn u nodig (etc). In de text: Johannes de Doper, verlossing, Lukas 2 4, God geschapen, Romeyne, duyvel, hemelvart, kristus, Exodus, etc.
