The flying Fama from the left hands a crown of honor to Minerva standing on the right foreground. In the background the personification of printmaking, a woman with a large metal plate in her hands. The print is part of a series with mythological and allegorical representations.

Signed at bottom: “G. de L. in. / J.G. f.”.

Etching on paper with margins; plate mark: 197 x 157 mm, total: 218 x 173 mm; some light rubbing and staining along the margins and on the corners, traces of previous mounting on verso, otherwise in very good condition. Hollstein German 33-1(3), Roy D. 180.
