Small-format book in an attractive brown leather binding with gilt decoration on the front cover and spine, depicting a running figure holding cups (alchemical/medieval motif). A finely produced private press-style edition from the interwar period. In good condition. 13 x 9 cm. With text on the spine: Mastickar. Contains the Czech text of the medieval play “Mastičkář” (the ointment seller), together with the fragment “Zlomek drkolenský”. Edited by Slavoboj Tusar, with transcription by Dr. Frant. Krčma. Printed by Fr. Obzina in Vyškov, Moravia.

Typography in red and black, with a woodcut-style illustration on the title page. Good-quality paper.
