This print was used in: Jacob de Riemer’s: “Beschryving van ‘s-Graven-Hage…” Delft and Den Haag, 1730-1739.

Titled above, on a ribbon: ”t HUIS VAN PRINS MAURITS VAN NASSAU’ Signed at bottom: ‘G.v. Giessen del. / R. Boitet Excud. Cum Privil’.

 

Handcolored etching on paper with margins; plate mark: 286 x 344 mm, total: 315 x 368 mm; aging paper, some smudges, light damp stain on verso, otherwise in good condition.
