Allegorical frontispiece with a resurrected Christ standing on a skeleton on the top of a podium. Two bishops on the sides, slightly below. Between them coat of arms of the provinces. Two portraits on the circular frames at the bottom of the podium. Title at bottom center: BATAVIA SACRA.

Employed as frontispiece in Hugo Franciscus van Heussen’s: ‘Batavia sacra, sive res gestae apostolicorum virorum, qui fidem Bataviae primi intulerunt, in duas partes divisa…cum typis aeneis,’ published in Brussel by François Foppens in 1714.
