Bust portrait of Lievin van der Beken (Laevinius Torrentius) (1525-1595). In an oval frame, shoulders turned to the left, with fur collar. Under the frame a plinth with inscription. Between the frame and the plinth his coat of arms with motto: DEUM SEQUERE.

Inscribed on the plinth: Rev. D.D. Loevinus Torrentius Episcopus Antverpiensis. II

Van der Beken was a humanist, a poet and second Bishop of Antwerp.

In een kader een tweeregelig onderschrift in het Latijn. Prent gebruikt in: Jacques Le Roy, Groot kerkelijk tooneel des Hertogdoms van Brabant. ‘s Gravenhage: C. van Lom, 1727 / Jacques Le Roy, Le grand theatre sacré du duché de Brabant. ‘s Gravenhage: G.
