On the background a landscape with city view on Utrecht. Signed on the table in the foreground: ‘Hh / Cum privil’. 34th plate of the series. Inscription on the bottom: ‘ANTONIUS MORUS, ULTRAIECTINUS / PICTOR / Quaestus, nomen, honos, si munera magna petenda: / Voto respondent omnia, More, tuo. / Te coluit Caesar, tum magnus Caesaris haeres. / Multum his principibus te placuisse viris’. On the verso collector’s mark of Paul Menso, L.4347.
