20th century later half linen binding in good condition, 24 x 15,5 cm. Interior with severe browning and foxing and last page missing a part of the paper.

[NL] Farmacopee / apothekershandboek met de titel Nederlandsche Apotheek. Over geneesmiddelenbereiding en farmaceutische voorschriften. De Nederlandsche apotheek is een 19e-eeuws farmaceutisch standaardwerk met recepten (formules) voor geneesmiddelen, bereidingsvoorschriften, materia medica, apothekerspraktijk, farmacologische aanwijzingen, etc.

Het boek functioneerde als apothekershandboek, voorschriftenboek en nationale farmaceutische referentie. In de 19e eeuw bestond in Nederland nog geen uniforme nationale farmacopee (zoals later de Pharmacopoea Neerlandica 1871). Apothekers gebruikten regionale farmacopees, stedelijke apothekenboeken en vertalingen van buitenlandse farmacopees. De Nederlandsche apotheek hoort bij de overgang naar standaardisatie.
