Lannoy, Juliana Cornelia baronesse de.

Nagelaten dichtwerken. Leiden, Abraham en Jan Honkoop, 1783[-1784], [14] + 160 + [8] pp.

The first half of the bundle includes never-before-printed poems by De Lannoy. The poetess had pointed out what had to be kept before her death; the rest was burned by her younger brother Adolf Hendrik after she passed. Shortly after, he also died himself. The publication of the poems was looked after by Willem Bilderdijk, who also – as the capable drawer he was – made the design for the two grave monuments. A publication of all of De Lannoy’s poems, announced by him, was never realised, as well as a reprint of her theatrical work, which was also on the press according to him. L2253
