Modern print with a view of a street in Hellevoetsluis. Beyond a fence beside a dock are several men sitting, looking at a street. On the opposite side are shops and a large van or bus. On the left, a woman is discussing with policemen. Along the margins, details from a rough sea: (on the left margin) a signal buoy, the shore, a sailing ship, (on the right margin) a light house, other ships, a village by the sea, (at the bottom) the skyline of a city beside the sea.

Signed and numbered in pencil at bottom: 45/75 / Nijland.
