Interior with a drunken farmer sitting on a very low bench, leaning his back to a fence. In his hand he is holding a jug. More towards the background other three farmers drinking. Copy in printdrawing (aquatint) after the original drawing by Bernardus Schreuder, an etcher and engraver in the workshop of Ploos van Amstel.
Laid paper. On the verso the stamp of Ploos van Amstel [L.2725] and a pencil inscription: “Corn Dusart del. Ploos van Amstel J.C. Fecit. 1776.”.
Print-drawing or aquatint on paper, trimmed within plate mark, mounted on cardboard; total: 197 x 154 mm; state IV/4; in very good state. Laurentius 29.
