Two etchings with farmers or beggars in landscapes. In one scene a man is sitting on the left, on the side of a hill, while stirring some food in a jug. On the right a woman with a child on her shoulder is climbing on the hill, in company of another man and a dog.

In the other scene, a woman is seated to the right, holding a child on her lap, while conversing with a man that stands on the left. a dog more towards the background.

Both images are signed: Prestel fec: [or Fecit]. Maybe Maria Catharina Prestel (1747-1794) or her former husband Johann Gottlieb Prestel (1739-1808).

[NL] Twee etsen met boeren of bedelaars in landschappen. In het ene afbeelding zit links een man op een heuvel terwijl hij in een kan roert. Rechts beklimt een vrouw met een kind op haar schouder de heuvel, samen met een andere man en een hond.

In de andere scène zit een vrouw rechts, met een kind op haar schoot, terwijl ze praat met een man die links staat. een hond meer naar de achtergrond.
