1. Le Matin: men playing in a village; eight lines of text in French: ‘Dez le matin… d’Austruy’; with address at bottom: ‘A Paris ches le Blond rue St. Jacques a la Cloche d’Argent avec privil. du Roy’; signed within the composition on bottom left: ‘D. Teniers inuent et pinxit’.
2. Le Mudy: men shooting arrows with the bows; text: ‘Enuirons lorsque… bien droit’; signed: ‘D. Teniers inuen et pinxit C.P.R.’.
3. Vespres: peasants drinking, making music and dancing outside a inn; ‘Icy l’un dance… des medisans’, signed: ‘D. Teniers inuen et pinxit’.
4. Le Soir: peasants drinking outside an inn, a woman at the door; ‘Ah voicy… avec cepot’, signed: ‘D. Teniers inuen et pinxit C.P.R.’.

Etching on paper with margins; plate mark: ca. 168 x 254 mm, total: 200 x 299 mm; yellowed external margins; nice plates, some small tears along the margins; Hollstein 36-39 (copies), ca. 1677-1678.
