Portrait of Anthony van Dyck, half-length turned away but looking over his right shoulder towards the viewer, wearing a large lace collar, doublet with buttoned shoulders, cloak, and chain, his left hand holding the cloak at the level of his right shoulder, sixth state with initials of Gillis Hendricx burnished; after Anthony van Dyck’s self-portrait.

Titled at bottom center: D. Antonivs Van Dyck Eqves / Caroli Regis Magnæ Britaniæ Pictor Antverpiæ Natvs.

Signed below: Ant. van Dyck pinxit. / L Vorsterman sculp. / Cum priuilegio.
