This print originates from ‘Lodovico Guicciardini, Descrittione di tutti i Paesi bassi (…), Arnhem, Jan Jansz or Utrecht, Van Herwijck, 1617.’ This was an influential account of the history and the arts of the Low Countries, accompanied by city maps by various leading engravers. Deys 2001.

Overall size: 13,3 x 20,5 cm; plate size: 12,9 x 20 cm. Good state. Some age related discolouration. Handlaid paper. Printed text about Arnhem in Dutch and margin decoration on the verso of the print.
