Under the tree on the right two peasants walking, on the left cresting cattle guarded by a shepherd. In the center rough see with ship bending towards the left. Mountains in the distance and villages.

[NL] Landschap met zee op de achtergrond, rechts en links hoge bomen. Op de voorgrond een door de wind gebroken boom. Onder de boom rechts twee boeren lopend, links kuifend vee bewaakt door een herder. In het midden een ruwe zee met naar links buigend schip. Bergen in de verte en dorpjes.
