[Antique game, board game, lithography] Schoolmeester en collectant, published ca. 1880.

Rectangular board game with numbered boxes from 0 to 84, follows events from the life of Klaas.

After a fatal accident caused by him, he flees to sea. The ship is hijacked and Klaas has to teach the ABCs as a schoolmaster to the sons of the Turkish rover. Klaas manages to escape and when he gets home he marries Jans, with whom he has nine daughters and three sons. After a considerable inheritance, Klaas can take it easy and make himself useful as a collector by collecting gifts. At number 84 he celebrates his golden wedding.

In the bottom margin the rules of the game in four columns. Above at center is the title of the game: ‘Schoolmeester en collectant. Een nieuw spel “Voor ‘t jonge volkje” in zijn vrijen tijd / Door P. Louwerse.’
