Printed text in Dutch about Utrecht and woodcut decoration on the verso of the print.
This print originates from ‘Lodovico Guicciardini, Descrittione di tutti i Paesi bassi (…), Arnhem, Jan Jansz or Utrecht, Van Herwijck, 1617.’ This was an influential account of the history and the arts of the Low Countries, accompanied by city maps by various leading engravers. Deys 2001.
