Three views on French cities: Lyon, Villeroy, Sainct Germain.
Belonging to a series dedicated to the city of Lyon, composed of some 30 plates:
1. Veuë de la Maison de Vimy, appartenant a Monsr l’Archeuesque de Lyon, Primat des gaules.
The building on the left faces the river on which are boats. On the background a hilly landscape and on the right a piece of the city. Signed on the bottom: ‘Israel Silvestre fecit / Israel ex. cum privil Regis.
Two prints from the set published in 1652, with 30 plates with different views on France:
2. Veuë du Chasteau de Villeroy, appartenant à Mr le Mareschal de Villeroy, Duc et Pair de France.
3. Veuë de la Maison de Monsieur le Coigneux President au Mortier au Parlement de Paris, scize au faubourg Sainct Germain.
