Published by Didot l’Aîné, a prestigious Parisian printer known for high-quility editions.About the Italian wars, Granada, the battle between islam and christian people, King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, Middle Ages in Spain, etc. The Reconquista was a series of military campaigns, social transformations, and religious conflicts that took place on the Iberian Peninsula (modern-day Spain and Portugal) between the 8th and 15th centuries. It involved the Christian kingdoms of the north attempting to recapture territory from Muslim rulers who had established the Al-Andalus region after the Islamic conquest of Hispania in 711.

Three half leather bindings with wear but still a charming set because of the black shield and guilded text and letters. 10 “livres”, parts in three volumes. Some pages with waterstains but overall in good condition.Volume 1 and 2 printed in 1793. Volume 3 (second edition) printed in 1792. In the text: Califes d’Oriens, califat, Toledo, Saragossa, Valence, Sevilla etc.
