Fifteen plates printed in color (a la pupee); 12 represent views on the Palace in Het Loo (Paleis het Loo), one of the Huis ten Bosch, one Honseloonsdijk and the last Zorgvliet (Sorgvliet). Under the representations are the explanations in Latin and Dutch, with the address of the publisher: ‘P. Schencl Exc: Amstelod: C.P.’. This set is rarely seen in color: the Koninklijk Bibliotheek in The Hague holds a copy [2211 B 24] and the Rijksmuseum holds sixteen loose plates from the same publication. Extremely charming in color.
The different nuances of colored ink were applied directly on the plate which was pressed once per page. At a closer look, in fact, one notices that the passages from a tone to the other are sometimes vague.
The plates are numbered with red ink on the top right corner, where traces of a former numbering in pen and black ink has been cut out.

According to the Hollstein, “the contents of his publication are divided into four parts and include at least 19 Rhenish views, 25 Views of palaces owned by the Orange, 18 Views of The Hague and 17 of the one hundred views of Amsterdam.”
