Rare theatre play, 20 x 12 cm. Provenance: from the library of the Gebroeders van Lier Amsterdam. Several stamps of the Library Gebr. A. van Lier Amsterdam. This is the Theater Library of the directors of the Amsterdam Grand Théâtre Abraham van Lier and his three sons Isouard, Lion and Joseph, the ‘Lier Brothers’. See article by Paul Post in DBNL.org about this unique library in the Hoogduitsche Schouwburg in the Amstelstraat in Amsterdam. The library was auctioned in 1931.
