The print is part of a series with Biblical, mythological, and allegorical representations after the masterworks of Gerard de Lairesse. Signed at bottom: “G. Lairesse in. / J. Glauber sc.”

Etching on paper with margins; plate mark: 281 x 383 mm, total: 315 x 438 mm; folding crease in the middle, some light rubbing  and staining along the margins and on the corners, traces of previous mounting on verso, otherwise in very good condition. Hollstein German 49-3(4), Roy p. 19a.
