[NL] Étienne François de Choiseul (1719–1785) was een invloedrijke Franse staatsman in de 18e eeuw, vooral actief tijdens het bewind van Lodewijk XV. Duc de Choiseul, comte de Stainville, Minister van Buitenlandse Zaken (1758–1761, 1766–1770), Minister van Oorlog en Marine, Kreeg grote invloed aan het hof via Madame de Pompadour.
