Handcolored decorative Rococo print employed as a wish card. The border decorated with several genre scenes, copied or inspired to Adriaen van Ostade’s etchings with farmers. On the bottom right corner a butcher (slager). Possibly signed on the barrel on the bottom left corner: ‘M’ or ‘MA’.

Wishcard for the new year to the uncle and aunt of Willem de Nelde. Signed and dated, with address: Amsterdam Den 1 Januarij 1818.
