Half leather binding with damages, interior in good condition, 22 x 13 cm. The first two of the four volumes, bound in one binding. First edition.

With original tax stamps “Zuid-Holland 8 Pn” on some of the pages. Sale catalogue of the famous Meerman collection: One of the most famous private libraries. The Royal Library in The Hague refused the donation of the entire collection and therefore the collection was being auctioned.
