(ca. 1710). Copperengraving on paper, fayed at the edges. 72 x 56cm. This large engraving of the heraldic familytree of the Danish Royal family was attributed to Christian VI, king of Denmark by J.W. Schele. It depicts all heraldic shields of the Royal Family and the other branches. It starts in late medieval times and ends with Christian VI. Christian VI (30 November 1699 – 6 August 1746) was King of Denmark and Norway from 1730 to 1746. He was the son of King Frederick IV of Denmark and Norway and Louise of Mecklenburg-Güstrow. He married Sophia Magdalen of Brandenburg-Kulmbach and fathered Frederick V. HP3
