Drawings and paintings by amateurs from the families Hingst and de Clercq and Hingst de Clercq.

About thirty works of art, mainly drawings and some paintings on canvas realized by members of the families Hingst, de Clercq and Hingst de Clercq. These were amateur artists, active between the eighteenth and the twentieth centuries. The works are mostly signed and dated. The subjects vary from portraits to animals, from landscapes to copies after earlier masters.

S.J. Hingst jzn. (fl. 1847, 1848); J.H(ingst?) 1793; Jacoba Hingst (fl. 1884-1889); Petronella (Nelly) Hingst-de Clercq (1877-1952) works dated 1893, 1900 and 1901; S.S. Hingst; B. de Clercq (1897); Hingst (1937), Sepke Brouwer, husband of Jolle Hingst.
