This book is a Dutch translation of Sancho Panza en su gobierno de la Insula Barataria . The story is about Sancho Panzo, the helper of Don Quixote. In the introduction T. C. Winkler tells us that the story was written as a prelude to Cervantes 'Don Quixote' for children. The book contains ten beautiful polychrome prints. The brightness and humour of these prints makes it a very special example of nineteenth century Spanish illustration, in which we can clearly see French influence. B2339
