View of the stage of the Amsterdam Schouwburg on Leidseplein, inaugurated on 15 September 1774, as seen from the auditorium. This city theatre was built to replace the theatre on Keizersgracht that burned down in 1772, and burned down itself in 1890.

[NL] Gezicht op het toneel van de op 15 september 1774 ingewijde Amsterdamse Schouwburg op het Leidseplein, gezien vanuit de zaal. Deze stadsschouwburg werd gebouwd om de in 1772 afgebrande schouwburg aan de Keizersgracht te vervangen en brandde in 1890 zelf af.
