View of the hall of the Amsterdam Schouwburg inaugurated on 15 September 1774 on Leidseplein, seen from the stage. This city theatre was built to replace the theatre on Keizersgracht that burned down in 1772, and burned down itself in 1890.

[NL] Gezicht op de zaal van de op 15 september 1774 ingewijde Amsterdamse Schouwburg op het Leidseplein, gezien vanaf het toneel. Deze stadsschouwburg werd gebouwd om de in 1772 afgebrande schouwburg aan de Keizersgracht te vervangen en brandde in 1890 zelf af.
