Two views of the palace of the Prince of Orange’s House in the Wood in the Hague (Paleis van Koninklijk Huis van Oranje in het Haagse Bos in Den Haag, huidig woonhuis Koning Willem Alexander en Maxima). Soldiers, carriages and people conversing in the foreground of both plates. Titled below in English and French with dedication to the prince. ‘The Garden Front of ye PRINCE of ORANGE’s House in the Wood near The Hague. / Vue de la Maison dans le Bois du cote du Jardin de SAS le Prince d’ Orange Stadhouder des Provinces Unies, &c. &c. &c., Dediee a Son Altesse Serenissime le Prince d’Orange… Par SAS le Tres Humble & Tres Obeissant serviteur, Rob.t Sayer.’ and ‘A Front View of the PRINCE of ORANGE’S House in the Wood near The HAGUE….’

Etchings on paper, with some margins; plate mark: ca. 279 x 398 mm, total: ca. 332 x 405 mm; two vertical folds,  and one horizontal towards the bottom; some tears along the most external margins and some along the folds; some smudges and folds on the corners, yet nice impressions.
