Map of the fortifications around the Flemish city of Oudenaarde, 1708. Numbered lower right: Tom. II. no. 30.

Titled above in French and Dutch: ‘PLAN D’OUDENARDE Place Forte du Comté de Flandre Située sur la Riviere d’Escaut a Sept Lieues de Tournay / PLAN VAN OUDENAARDE Sterke plaats van’t Graafschap Vlaandre gelegen op de Rivier de Schelde seven uuren van Doornick.’ With legenda referencing the numbers on the plate both in French and Dutch.

This map was previously published by Anna van Beek. It served to illustrate how the war of the Spanish Succession (1701-1714) was proceeding.
