Hofwijck, the country estate of Constantijn Huygens in Voorburg.
At the top center a bird’s eye view of Hofwijck and the accompanying gardens. To the left and right, three views on the sides and a floor plan with a common legend A-S and the same scale: 60 feet. Below an extensive map with a legend T-Z and Δ-Π and a scale: 40 rods ‘Rijnlandtse maet’. Numbered on the top right: ‘I Deel 293.’
Titled on the bird’s eye view above: ‘VITAULIUM’ and below: ‘HOFWYCK.’

Etching on paper with some margin; plate mark: 296 x 384 mm, total: 310 x 413 mm; folding crease on the right, flattened paper, top margin with some restoration; in very good condition.
