From a set of twelve landscapes, plate nr. 12 depicting a bridge at center, a rider and a peasant above it. On the right, several houses and on the left a boat with fishermen.
Lettered below left ‘I: van Goyen inventor’ and at right ‘I: de Visscher fecit’. Numbered right corner ’12’. The set is titled: ‘Regiunculæ Amoenissimæ eleganter delineate Johanne van Goyen et æri incisæ per Johannem de Visscher’.

Etching and engraving on paper, with margins; plate mark: 127 x 204 mm; total: 175 x 243 mm; with the exception of some very small brown stains, in great condition; traces of previous mounting on verso; Hollstein 41, Wess. 70.
