[Antique print, etching] A Perspective View of the New Drawbridge Canal and Great Orphan House at The Hague (Bierkade Den Haag), published ca. 1770.

View on the Bierkade in the center of The Hague (de Bierkade in Den Haag), the bridge over the canal in the foreground, a coach approaching from the left, boats in the middle distance. The great orphanage (het oude Weeshuis in het Spui) is visible in the distance, at center. Etching with some engraving on paper, with some margins; plate mark: 255 x 396 mm, total: 301 x 419 mm; two sheets joined together from the verso, tears along the margins, one repaired on the top right; some smudges and light staining, otherwise very nice impression.
