View on the Bierkade in the center of The Hague (de Bierkade in Den Haag), the bridge over the canal in the foreground, a coach approaching from the left, boats in the middle distance. The great orphanage (het oude Weeshuis in het Spui) is visible in the distance, at center. In a nicely decorated frame.

Titled in English at bottom: “A Perspective View of the New Drawbridge Canal and Great Orphan House at The HAGUE a celebrated Town in Holland.”
