Three-quarter length, standing, facing front, with right hand on chest and left hand holding a glove propped on his hip next to the hilt of his sword, wearing a coat with lace frills and cuffs, with long hair. Portrait within an ornate frame. From a set of twelve portraits.

Lettered below: ‘PHILIPPVS COMES PEMBRORIAE. / Aetatis suae 18°’ Signed: ‘Anton. Van Dyck pinxit. / P. Lombart sculpsit londini.’

State non documented in the literature, between the first (before letters) and the second (with ‘et ex’ between ‘sculpsit’ and ‘londini’).
