A disabled man sitting on large cart is begging for money while a woman on the left gives him soem coins. Inscription in Dutch at the bottom: ‘Veel meschen Ryden tot vermaak; … Die niemand suister valt te raaden’. Signed under the picture: ‘P. Barbiers inv. et del. / P. Langendijk sculp.’ From a set of various similar compositions.
Engraving on paper, printed in red ink, trimmed within plate mark, total: 122 x 90 mm; traces of previous mounting on verso, otherwise in very good condition.
