The dead whale is resting on the shore while two men are measuring it. The animal has opened mouth showing its tongue. From the background a long line of curious people is coming to see the giant.

[NL] De dode walvis rust op de kust terwijl twee mannen deze opmeten. Het dier heeft zijn mond geopend en toont zijn tong. Op de achtergrond komt een lange rij nieuwsgierige mensen om de reus te bekijken.
