Winter landscape with some skaters skating (schaatsen) on a frozen canal, beside some city walls. Monogrammed on the bottom left: A.S. If by Aert Schouman, to be dated to the second half of the eighteenth century.
Drawing on laid paper, grey ink, brush and grey wash over pencil. Mounted on another sheet where a frame is drawn with grey wash. Total: 118 x 170 mm.
