The Waggoner and Fisherman

Two men at a table smoking, one holding a glass of beer, the other standing on the left, waving a pipe; bread on a board on top of a jug in front of them. Lettered with the title, two columns of verse: ‘A Bumper! cry’s the Waggoner / To those who Liberty prefer! // Right says the Fisherman Huzza! / For this is not a fishing Day.’ and ‘Ostade pinx.t // Published as the Act directs, A.D. 1769. // Dawe fecit. // [lower left] 5 // Printed for Carington Bowles, Map & Printseller, No. 69 in St. Pauls Church Yard, London.’
