Landscape with a fortress and a tower. Behind it, on the right a chapel. In the foreground two monks walk on a path. From a series of a total of sixty prints with landscapes, divided over five parts of twelve prints each: “Amenissimae aliquot regiunuculae”. Numbered on the bottom right: “9” and on the top right: “2”. Republished by Pieter Schenk before 1713.
Etching on laid paper with margins mounted on cardboard; plate mark: 133 x 200 mm, total: 168 x 237 mm; state III/3; despite some light staining and foxing especially on the margins, in good condition. Hollstein 252.
