Ninth plate from a set of fourteen with landscapes after Cornelis Claesz. van Wieringen. At center the village. On the bottom left a stream and a small bridge over it. Signed below, at center with Wieringen’s monogram: ‘C. CW in.’, and on the right: ‘CJV f’. Numbered on the right: ‘9’.

Etching on paper trimmed to plate mark, total: 137 x 190 mm; only state; tiny rust stain in the sky, some light smudges on the corners, otherwise in good condition; watermark with Amsterdam’s coat of arms. Hollstein 335, Simon 79.
