Full parchment binding in good condition. Gebonden in geheel perkament uit de tijd. Illustrated with engraved portrait by L. Cause.
Deshoulière was a student of Gassendi, very clever and intellectual. She led one of the most brilliant salons in her time. She was elected in the Academie de Ricovrati in 1684, the first female academic in France and was regarded as the first female poets.
