Wish card for the Kermis, fair, carnaval to the uncle of Kornelis Bogtman. Dated 30 july 1843. Mentioned is the Beemster for the city where it is very crowded because of the fair.

At the top and left margins a printed decoration in color. Beside the neat handwriting, Bogtman (or the teache) shows off his skills in calligraphic drawings, realizing birds decorations. Kalligrafie tekeningen die dieren worden.
