An optical print with a view on the Bierkade in The Hague. This canal runs through the centre of the city. On both sides of the canal, expensive houses line the street. A coach is approaching the ‘Wagenbrug’ from the left. In the distance the outlines of ‘Het Zweedse Huis’ are visible. This building was demolished in 1867.
