This print was firstly published in 1632 in Marcus Zuerius Boxhorn’s ‘Theatrum sive Hollandiae comitatus et vrbium nova’, and it is included in Johannes Willemszoon Blaeu’ s ‘Toonneel der steden van de Vereenighde Nederlanden’ published in Amsterdam in 1652. On verso text in letterpress.

On verso collector’s mark: ‘STICHTING FAMILIEKRING COEBERG.’

Handcolored etching and engraving on paper; verso text in letterpress; plate mark: 153 x 231 mm, total: 219 x 286 mm; some spattering on the top and right margins, otherwise in good condition. Nicely colored.
