The larger plate was used as illustration in: “Novum Ac Magnum Theatrum Urbium Theatrum Belgicae Liberae Ac Foederatae” but also “Toonneel der Steden van de Vereenighde Nederlanden,” Amsterdam, J. Blaeu, 1649. The plate appeared also in Guicciardini’s “Descrittione di tutti i Paesi Bassi, altrimenti detti Germania inferiore.” published between 1567 and 1591.
Etchings on paper with tiny margins; total: ca. 125 x 149 mm; despite the traces of folding in great condition.
