Map of the Allied capture of Ath from the French, October 2, 1706. Numbered lower right: ‘Tom. II. no. 30’.

Titled on the bottom left in Dutch within a cartouche with a legenda referencing the numbers within the plate: ‘PLAN DER STADT AATH en Verklaring van de Attaque’; on the right its French translation: ‘PLAN DE LA VILLE D’AATH et Explication de l’Attaque.’

This map was previously published by Anna van Beek. It served to illustrate how the war of the Spanish Succession (1701-1714) was proceeding.
